- US- MURRAY STATE- The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education Academic and Strategic Initiatives Committee has given approval to Murray State University to offer a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree bringing the establishment of its School of Veterinary Medicine closer. (org)
- US- UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA-DAVIS- Joan and Sanford I Weill through The Weill Family Foundation donated $120M, the largest gift ever made to veterinary medicine worldwide to the UC Davis veterinary school. In recognition the school has been renamed to UC Davis Weill School of Veterinary Medicine. (edu)
- US- PENN VET- A $94M laboratory building, Penn Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, is being developed for the School of Veterinary Medicine’s New Bolton Center campus. (com)
