BRAKKE CONSULTING VIEWPOINT

The activity level for licensing of new technologies and the launching of new products was reasonably robust this week. We continue to observe the high level of activity in various digital devices to monitor the health of various species of animals. The area of digital diagnostics in both human and animal medicine is “hot”. We expect continued development in this new digital diagnostic area that will have substantial benefits to pet owners and producers as the products and services evolve. It is an example of where the Internet is supporting the creation of innovative, transformational new products and services.

Another product area that continues to outperform the marketplace is the area of nutritional supplements and enhancers. With all the pressure on antibiotic usage we expect nutritional solutions based on solid science to become increasingly important in the health of animals.

Have a great weekend!
