BRAKKE CONSULTING VIEWPOINT
The news this week is covers a number of international licensings, product launches and acquisitions. Several of these announcements relate to new technology improvements for various diagnostic products. We continue to believe that new diagnostics will be the one of the leading growth areas in animal health in the next few years. Diagnostics improve veterinary care for both food and companion animals.
Our feedback from the field this week is that most companies are expecting reasonably strong financial results for the first half of 2015. With just a few days left in June, it will not belong until we’ll start seeing the actual reports.
For those of you interesting in learning more about the trends in the US Animal Health Industry in 2015 and forward, we would encourage you to register for our 2-hour webinar that is advertised earlier in this newsletter. This is an update of our earlier NAVC and WVC presentations. There have been a number of changes during the past few months that will have an impact on year-end results for some product categories and programs. We look forward to having you join us for this informative webinar.
Have a great weekend!
Ron Brakke
