Veterinary telehealth market profiled in Brakke Consulting’s new report
Telehealth and telemedicine are one of the hottest topics in human medicine. In the past few years, veterinary medicine has also seen the launch of telehealth providers aimed at connecting pet owners and veterinarians using new technologies. ”There are a lot of questions about veterinary telehealth, beginning with what exactly telehealth means, and whether it is even permitted by the State Veterinary Practice Acts,” said Lynn Fondon DVM MBA, senior consultant of Brakke Consulting. The study, The Companion Animal Veterinary Telehealth Landscape, provides answers to these questions and more.
