For the quarter, the company posted a loss of ($0.2 million) compared with a profit of $0.7 million in the year-ago quarter. Excluding one-time charges, the company earned $1.7 million in the fourth quarter. Net sales increased 9% in the quarter to $160 million. For the full fiscal year, the company reported net income of $5.2 million, compared to net income of $7.4 million in the prior year. Net sales for the year grew to $630 million, an increase of 10% compared with the prior year.
