Brakke Consulting, the premier management consulting firm serving the animal health and nutrition industries, announced the opening of a new office in the Kansas City area.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the firm will locate in the Enterprise Center of Johnson County, at 8527 Bluejacket Street, Suite 115, Lenexa, Kansas, 66214. The firm also has offices in Chicago, St. Louis, Omaha, Indianapolis, and Stuart, Florida.
For the past two years, Brakke has worked closely with the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor initiative. “The KC Animal Health Corridor is the largest center of animal health and nutrition business in the world,” said Ron Brakke, president. “With the new Kansas City office, our firm will have a local presence near major animal pharmaceutical firms, early stage animal health firms, pet food and supplement companies, and leading animal product distributors.”
“Brakke Consulting is the premier consulting firm for the animal health industry, and their presence in the Corridor signifies the importance of this region’s assets to the industry,” said Joerg Ohle, president and general manager of Bayer Corporation’s Animal Health Division, North America and chairman of the KC Animal Health Corridor Advisory Board.
Brakke added, “A Kansas City location for a Brakke Consulting office fits well with our existing business and with our plans for the future because of the concentration of animal health and nutrition businesses in the area. We look forward to moving into our new space and becoming an even more integral part of the Corridor activities.”
The new Brakke Consulting office will be staffed on a rotating basis by current Brakke personnel.
