BRAKKE CONSULTING VIEWPOINT
Much of the news this week has been generated by some of the medium and smaller sized companies serving the industry. Several of these firms are companies to watch in 2014 and beyond for their strategic approaches and entrepreneurial attitudes towards the animal health business. A number of them have generated double digit year-over-year revenue growth, exceeding their peer group of companies and the industry.
As we develop our 2014 Animal Health Industry Overview it becomes clear that some of the growth occurring in the industry is not from the larger companies who operate in some of the leading product areas. Instead, a broad base of smaller and medium sized companies operating in non-traditional product areas and various services companies are driving a reasonable amount of the industry growth. If you’d like Brakke Consulting’s views on where some of the leading growth areas will be in 2014 and beyond, we encourage you to register for one of our Industry Overviews to be held in January and February in various locations.
Happy New Year! Have a great weekend as we close out the Holiday Season!
