The improved performance reflected new promotional and distribution practices, various restructuring initiatives, and double-digit revenue growth of Rimadyl, Revolution, RespiSure and Dectomax. These benefits were partially offset by lost revenue from the divestiture of the feed-additive product line in 2000, and the impact of mad cow disease and foot and mouth disease in Europe.
