A quarta edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Brakke Equine Market MegaStudy, rec\u00e9m-lan\u00e7ada, mostra que o gasto por propriet\u00e1rio aumentou, embora haja menos propriet\u00e1rios de cavalos e cada um possua menos cavalos, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com a terceira edi\u00e7\u00e3o do estudo em 2013.<\/p>\n

O estudo foi uma pesquisa nacional com mais de 900 propriet\u00e1rios de cavalos, com informa\u00e7\u00f5es detalhadas sobre dados demogr\u00e1ficos, h\u00e1bitos de leitura e compras, uso de Internet e m\u00eddia social, envolvimento em eventos equinos e uma s\u00e9rie de outros dados.<\/p>\n

\u201cO sinal mais encorajador \u00e9 que os mais jovens est\u00e3o come\u00e7ando a voltar ao mercado\u201d, diz John Volk, autor do estudo e consultor s\u00eanior da Brakke Consulting. \u201cNos \u00faltimos anos, vimos um decl\u00ednio no n\u00famero de propriet\u00e1rios de cavalos jovens. Este novo estudo mostra o primeiro aumento que vimos em v\u00e1rios anos. O n\u00famero de propriet\u00e1rios de cavalos de 18 a 34 anos aumentou de 11% em 2013 para 15% em 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outro sinal positivo, diz Volk, \u00e9 que o valor m\u00e9dio que os propriet\u00e1rios estavam dispostos a gastar por um novo cavalo aumentou para $3.000 de $2.500 no estudo anterior.<\/p>\n

Por outro lado, a quantidade de tempo gasto em atividades relacionadas a cavalos caiu de 21 horas por semana para 16 horas por semana, e o n\u00famero de eventos equestres envolvidos caiu para dois por ano, de tr\u00eas por ano em 2013.
