The event saw strong attendance, drawing\u00a0nearly all\u00a0major animal health companies and much of their senior leadership. Additionally, a wide range of affiliated organizations\u2014including CDMOs, suppliers, and consultants\u00a0\u2014were\u00a0present.\u00a0 The central theme was \u2018Innovation,\u2019\u00a0explored through a variety of engaging speakers and panel discussions. While innovation is crucial for industry growth, regulatory agencies face ongoing challenges to keep pace and ensure\u00a0timely\u00a0approval of new advances to the market. Investment is also a key\u00a0component, particularly for independent startups, yet there\u00a0remains\u00a0a significant shortage of venture capital funding available within animal health to support them.\u00a0 In my opinion, unless\u00a0we improve regulatory processes and expand investment opportunities, innovation in animal health will remain more of a discussion point than a reality.\u00a0 Paul Casady\u00a0"}
