For the quarter, the company reported net income of $6.5 million, compared with net income of $12.8 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2001.&nbsp; For the fiscal year ended Oct. 31, 2002, net sales were $743.7 million, a 5.3% increase compared with net sales of $706.0 million for 2001.
