The business’ performance was boosted by efficiency improvements in manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing, resulting in an EBIT of EUR 238 million ($282 million), up 29% from 2004.  For the quarter, Intervet reported revenues of EUR 278 million ($329 million), an increase of 6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2004.
