Freides is a veteran finance executive who has worked in both the human pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine fields, having spent nearly 29 years with Merck & Co., Inc. in a number of financial leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Executive Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, North America, for Merck’s animal health business.
