Last week our question was on the anthropomorphism of pets’ trend that Jeff’s video viewpoint discussed- 67% of our respondents refer to themselves as Pet Owners with only 6% of those being from the Millennial/ GenZ generation, 29% of respondents refer to themselves as Pet Parents- with 17% of those being born before 1981 so it seems like your birth year doesn’t define your “parenting” of pets.

A recent special commentary in the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association, “The Growing Tension Between Clinical Expertise and Corporate Consolidation in Veterinary Medicine”, the author asks a fundamental question: “Can a clinical business operate effectively without any clinical representation on its executive board?” which frames our question for this week
